# Product feed (/en/feeds)

A product feed is a file containing your product data that DeepScout regularly downloads and processes. It gives you full control over the data entering the system.

<Callout title="For managed customers">
DeepScout sets up feeds for the projects that it manages. Feeds for self-service projects are coming soon.
</Callout>

## Format [#format]

The feed can be in one of the following formats:

| Format | Description |
|---|---|
| **XML** | Most common — standard feeds for Google Shopping or Heureka work out of the box |
| **CSV** | Delimited tabular format |
| **JSON** | JSON array or JSONL (one object per line) |
| **XLSX** | Excel spreadsheet |

## Where to host the feed [#where-to-host-the-feed]

The feed must be accessible at a public URL that DeepScout downloads from on a regular basis. We support HTTP and HTTPS, with optional authentication (Basic Auth, OAuth2, or custom headers) if needed.

## Update frequency [#update-frequency]

We set the download frequency based on your needs:

| Frequency | Description |
|---|---|
| **Daily** | Feed is downloaded once a day at a chosen time |
| **Weekly** | Feed is downloaded on selected days of the week |
| **Monthly** | Feed is downloaded on selected days of the month |

If you need a specific schedule, a custom plan can be configured.

## Existing feeds [#existing-feeds]

If you already have a product feed for another system (Google Shopping, Heureka, Zboží.cz, etc.), you can reuse it for DeepScout — as long as it contains the [required fields](/en/feed-fields.md). We handle the field mapping from your feed to DeepScout on our side.

## Fields [#fields]

For a full list of fields the feed can contain, see the [Feed fields](/en/feed-fields.md) page.
